Her career spans leadership roles at the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat, Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration and the Electoral Commission, supported by an 18‑year foundation in journalism as a news anchor, morning show host, reporter and editor.

She has spearheaded flagship campaigns, knowledge products, and high‑level events that strengthened institutional credibility, mobilised donor commitments and built coalitions. Betty’s work consistently integrates gender responsiveness and inclusivity, ensuring women, youth and vulnerable groups are central to institutional narratives.

Founder of the Pumpkins Foundation, she mobilises partnerships and resources to advance child‑focused education and healthcare. She also contributes to advocacy networks such as Rotary International and the Women of Africa Network, championing empowerment, financial inclusion and humanitarian service.
